About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and dependable Dairy Farm Assistant to become a part of our team at Edwards and Ormond Ltd, located in Woodville, Manawatu. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the chance to work on a dynamic and successful dairy farm.
Your Responsibilities
As a Dairy Farm Assistant, you will:
- Help with daily farm activities, such as milking, feeding, and tending to the herd.
- Ensure the farm, facilities, and equipment are clean, maintained, and in good working condition.
- Observe animal health and wellbeing, promptly reporting any concerns to the farm manager.
- Participate in general farm work, including fencing, paddock care, and operating machinery like tractors.
