About the Role | Mō te tūranga
As a Food & Beverage Attendant, your passion for food and exceptional service will shine. Whether serving at conferences or functions, recommending menu items, or taking orders, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating outstanding guest experiences.
If you have an eye for detail, enjoy working in a dynamic team environment, and are flexible with shifts, including weekends, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa
- Serve guests during conferences, functions, and dining experiences.
- Provide food and beverage recommendations with enthusiasm and confidence.
- Take orders, deliver meals, and ensure guests have an exceptional experience.
- Adhere to safe food handling practices.
- Assist with coffee preparation and use basic computer systems for order entry.

While previous experience is not essential, the following qualities will set you apart:
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- A flexible approach to shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Well-presented, professional, and customer-focused.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and barista skills (an advantage).
