Setters Neighbourhood Pub Ltd. is seeking reliable and enthusiastic candidates for the position of Cashier. This seasonal position offers a diverse work schedule, including day, evening, weekend, and flexible shifts, with opportunities for overtime. Position Highlights and Requirements

- Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: No prior experience needed – on-the-job training will be provided
- Work Setting: Retail business, on-site
Key Responsibilities
The Cashier will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to daily retail operations, including:
- Operating the Cash Register: Process transactions, including cash, cheque, and credit/debit card payments.
- Processing Payments: Receive payments for goods or services and provide customers with accurate change.
- Item Scanning: Scan items accurately and efficiently for customers.
- Customer Service: Greet customers with a welcoming attitude and offer assistance if needed.
- Reconciliation of Sales: Calculate daily or shift payments received and ensure accuracy by reconciling with total sales.
- Age Verification: Verify the age of customers when selling restricted products such as alcohol, lottery tickets, or tobacco.
