About the Role:

Are you passionate about caregiving and supporting families? We’re currently seeking a Family Caregiver to assist in the daily care of a household member in Calgary, Alberta. If you have a kind heart, patience, and a desire to make a difference in someone’s life, we would love to hear from you!

This is a live-in optional role with room and board provided at no cost. Please note, living in is not mandatory for employment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Offering bedside assistance and personal hygiene support

• Administering medication as required

• Helping clients with daily routines such as bathing and grooming

• Encouraging and assisting in light exercises, like walks

• Preparing and serving healthy, balanced meals

• Supporting clients during mealtimes, including feeding assistance

• Carrying out laundry and light housekeeping duties

• Providing warm and friendly companionship

• Ensuring personal care needs are met consistently

Required Qualifications:

• Language: English (fluency required)

• Education: Certificate or diploma in a related field OR equivalent practical experience

• Experience: Minimum 1 month to less than 7 months

• Certifications:

  • CPR Certification

  • First Aid Certification

• Work Location: Must work on-site (no remote option)

• Physical Demands:

  • Moderate to physically demanding tasks

  • Repetitive duties may be involved
