Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Spray & Fertilize: Execute spray programs using AgWorld, ensuring timely and accurate applications.
  • Collaboration: Work with various teams across the farm (cropping, horticulture, irrigation, livestock).
  • Training & Mentorship: Train and guide junior staff to ensure continuous coverage.
  • Record-Keeping: Meticulously track chemical use and maintain detailed records.
  • General Farm Duties: Pitch in with other tasks like tractor driving, seeding, harvest, and livestock work.

Your Ideal Profile:

  • Spraying/Fertilizing Experience (Preferred): Knowledge of spray techniques and fertilizer application is a big plus.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using online platforms like AgWorld for scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Chemical Handling Experience: Prior experience handling chemicals safely and accurately.
  • GPS & Machinery Systems: Familiarity with GPS software and modern machinery systems.
  • Licenses: HC/MC license, forklift license, telehandler license, and first aid certificate (a plus).
  • Key Attributes: Mechanical aptitude, strong communication, safety-conscious, diligent, adaptable, and hygienic.
