About the Role:
Join a progressive and highly skilled team at J J Niven Engineering in Palmerston North. This role involves diverse heavy fabrication projects aimed at enhancing skills and sustaining interest in the trade.
Key Requirements:
- Enthusiastic, physically fit, and proficient in heavy fabrication and general engineering
- Ability to fabricate to high standards from drawings, showcasing fit-up, and layout skills
- Prior welding ticket(s) held
- Strong attention to detail and effective multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues and management
- Flexibility and availability for overtime work
Education / Experience:
- Skilled Fabricator / Welder (preferably trade qualified)
Remuneration:
Competitive remuneration packages offered, aligned with experience, are expected in the range of $25 to $45 per hour. Further discussions regarding remuneration will occur with suitable candidates.
