Job Overview

Windyview Acres is seeking dedicated Mushroom Pickers to join our farm in Sunderland, Ontario. This entry-level, full-time position offers the chance to work hands-on with mushroom crops, assisting in hand harvesting, transferring produce, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area. We provide training on-site, so previous experience is not required. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work in an agricultural setting.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mushroom Picker, you’ll be responsible for:

Harvesting and Picking: Hand harvesting mushrooms and other vegetables as required, ensuring only the highest quality crops are selected.
Loading and Transferring: Loading and unloading crates, supplies, and farm produce for distribution.
Work Area Maintenance: Keeping the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Additional Duties: Supporting farm operations by helping transfer supplies and handling any other tasks as assigned.

Work Environment and Conditions

This is an on-site position with no option for remote work. Windyview Acres provides a supportive and structured work environment where you’ll work alongside a diverse team. The position requires:

Physical Readiness: This is a physically demanding job that includes repetitive tasks, lifting, and standing for long periods.
