Responsibilities for Orchard Worker 2025
- Harvesting various types of stonefruit, pipfruit, and citrus throughout the season. This includes selective picking based on ripeness and size, with some on-site grading.
- After the picking season, tasks will shift to pruning, thinning, and general orchard upkeep.
Skills & Experience
- Experience operating machinery such as tractors and elevated lift platforms is highly desirable.
- A forklift license and GROWSAFE certification would be advantageous but are not mandatory for starting the role.
