Pipe TIG Welder

We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe TIG Welder to join our team in Mackay, Queensland. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

• Assembling, installing, and repairing pipe components and systems according to specifications.
• Operating angle grinders and other power tools to prepare parts for welding.
• Welding different types of piping and structural materials using the TIG welding process, following strict welding procedures.
• Cutting, preparing, and creating joints for pipe fabrication.

Pipe TIG Welder Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a pipe TIG welder or a related welding position.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality welds that meet all ASME or AWS standards.
• Experience with reading and interpreting welding blueprints and specifications.
• Familiarity with various pipe materials, such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.
• A valid driver’s license is a plus.
