About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter Turner to join a dynamic team. You will play an essential role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Manufacturing & Assembly: Produce, fit, and assemble precision parts for a wide range of machinery while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform maintenance, modifications, and repairs on machinery, adhering to manufacturers’ specifications to ensure peak performance.
- Fitting & Fabrication: Weld, fabricate, and assemble metal components, showcasing your technical expertise to deliver superior outcomes.
- Health & Safety Leadership: Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
About You
We are looking for candidates with technical skills, a strong work ethic, and a dedication to excellence. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Fitter Turner in the engineering or manufacturing sectors.
- A valid Class 1 Full Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Additional certifications are desirable, such as:
- Working at Heights
- Confined Spaces
- First Aid Training
- Personal attributes including reliability, punctuality, respectfulness, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
